GOP’s war on women backfires
The Republican Party’s war on women backfired big time on candidates running for office. Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock lost to Democrats after their comments about rape and abortion, and even middle-of-the-road Republicans like Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown lost his bid for re-election to Elizabeth Warren. NOW President Terry O’Neill joins Ed Schultz to discuss what the election means for women’s rights, and the big gains women made in Congress.
