Lawmakers using old tactics to defy new laws

Michigan joins five other states in introducing bills that would make it illegal to enforce the president’s new gun proposals, calling the measures unconstitutional. They claim it’s a states’ rights issue, the same scapegoat used to resist integration. Rep. Joe Carr, R-Tenn., joins Rev. Al Sharpton to explain why his bill should trump the federal law.
