>> i would say that 2014 is a long way away . eight years ago won reelection and a lot of people were talking about how republicans were a majority and we found out in the races. things can change and it takes a while for them to change. one thing that was a combative speech and particularly when it came to climate change , he is going to take executive action on his own. i would make one counter. one matter where there seems to be a place it get things done. president obama was congenial and he devoted or two paragraphs to that. he wants congress to do his job and keeps pushing.
>> we know there other issues and raising the minimum wage. speaker boehner saying it would hurt those who create jobs. that would be a non-starter. i don't know how they find compromise. issues related to voters and the president highlighting 102-year-old woman whoa had to stand in line for hours. there is not a rush job that was brought up. prior to the election in november by democrats. you are right regarding immigration. looking at the big picture , that's the only way to stop the fever for the democrats to control the house.
>> it depens on whether it's to get everything you want accomplished. president obama wants to get more accomplished, yes, having democrats taking back the house is their objective. i would say that will be difficult to do with redistricting. they want an election and only able to pick up eight house seats. you look at what president obama is doing and you are right. on the issues you laid out, he was building a trap that opposes them.
