Panetta stays on the job as the Hagel nomination remains stalled
Although he’s receiving an official farewell, Leon Panetta will remain Secretary of Defense until the Senate Armed Services Committee and the full Senate vote on the nomination of Chuck Hagel to succeed him. The Associated Press’ Donna Cassata explains why there’s been a delay.
