Family members charged with sex crimes

Nov. 11: Five members of a Missouri family have been arrested and face charges of allegedly sexually abusing younger members of their family for years. Msnbc's Contessa Brewer reports.

>>> coming in, a disturbing story out of missouri, five members of the same family are behind bars charged with abusing their young family members as long ago as 20 years ago a. police arrested burl edward muller senior and three sons, buell moeller jr.s, six children told investigators they were abused by all five men between 1988 and 1995ful the sheriff has just held a news conference. he is asking for some help and some strange details to this story.

>> we believe that there are other victims out there and we believe that people in the public can give us more information on each and every one of these suspects.

>> right now, we know that they have cadaver dogs on a property in bates city , where lexington, missouri, going through several acres of land looking for any evidence. so far, they have found these glass jars, apparently, that were buried in the ground that contain pestables from the children describing ate because they were having to be -- they were having to endure. some of the charges that these five men are facing now include forcible sodomy, forcible rain. as you can see, use of a child in a sexual performance. we are also just now learning that the original victim to come forward told police the abuse occurred before her 12th birthday, before march of 1995 , and she told police the abuse resulted in a pregnancy and that she was forced to have an abortion when she was just 11 years old. so, again now, the question becomes how many more victims are there and are there victims that are not related to this family but at this point, five mention an elderly father and his four adult sons facing charges in this sex crimes case.
