Why women matter at the ballot box

In 2008, women voters set the stage for a stronger female presence in politics, from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to a Supreme Court that has one third of the positions filled by women. The Tea Party slowed that momentum in 2010, which shows the importance of casting your vote, even when it’s difficult to do so.
