From the vault: Guilty by association
In attempts to cast President Obama off as coming from radical roots, conservative pundits this week re-circulated a video of a college-aged President Obama participating in a protest rally. In the clip, young Obama is seen embracing Harvard Law professor Derrick Bell, who in his time was a staunch critic of institutional racism. But does this momentary hug really suggest that Obama is guilty of radicalism by association?
