Bashir: Rep. Allen West deserves his loss

Martin Bashir explains the irony of Rep. Allen West’s, R-Fla., complaints about problems with Florida’s early voting – the reason, Allen alleges, he will almost certainly lose his seat – after his governor, Republican Rick Scott, waged a war on early voting to try to defeat President Obama.

>> that was allen west , a tea party favorite who's learning a very hard and, let's face it, deeply ironic lesson about his party's contempt for early voting in florida. he says he will not concede defeat to his democratic opponent. the reason, alleged ballot irregularities among those who voted early. for the record, he lost. yes, by a small amount. in the unofficial final count, not by an enough to trigger a recounted. it was his governor, rick scott , who tried to do great harm to early voting , cutting the number of days almost in half. the thinking went, long lines would so diminish democratic turnout as to secure a republican win. instead, we see today a democratic president with a mandate and a loser of the most expensive house race this cycle with a very ironic complaint about unfairness in florida's early voting . frankly, it serves you right, sir.
