White House harnesses power of Twitter
The White House is hoping the power of social media—which successfully helped during President Barack Obama’s re-election bid—will also have an effect on the fiscal cliff/budget battle. The president is using twitter town halls, email blasts and Facebook messages to urge middle-income Americans to push for results in Congress. Eric Yaverbaum of Social Media magazines discusses.
